Architect, 1.5yrs; Part 2 Architectural Assistant, 1yr, October 2016 - May 2019
Project Architect on East Village Plot N06, a 31 stories high-rise residential project consisting of two towers and 524 built-to-rent apartments (£179m). 10 months
Developed RIBA Stage 4b external façades and internal packages under tight timelines, and owned the holistic fire stopping strategy.
Managed and coordinated design inputs from a large team of engineers and contractors across design disciplines in a BIM environment.
Innovated the modular prefabrication strategy with the Contractor, which enabled significant cost savings. Worked to extremely precise construction tolerances to facilitate successful off-site construction.
Worked on-site at Tottenham Court Road (TCR), Bond Street and Liverpool Street Crossrail Stations to deliver Europe’s largest infrastructure project (£17.6 bn). 1yr, 8mths.
Led front- and back-of-house coordination and change control of TCR’s Western Ticket Hall, including engagement and coordination with the client body, contractors, manufacturers, and consultants.
Managed delivery of internal fit-out across the stations, including tunnel and ticket hall cladding, fire-stopping, doors, flooring, signage and ticket barriers.
Produced detailed technical drawings and specifications, including in response to RFIs and drawing submittals.
Resolved complex site issues to comply with statutory and London Underground codes and the Design Intent. Managed three Part 1 and 2 architectural assistants.

Led winning design for urban housing competition: a masterplan to regenerate the 35 hectare Maspero Triangle district in Cairo, Egypt.
Produced roof designs for the Terminal 3 Taiwan International Airport competition using Rhino and Grasshopper that parametrically integrate structural and environmental strategies.
Designed a feasibility study for St. Clair Block, a 140,000 sqm mixed-use development in north Toronto. The resulting report enabled the practice to enter the next stage of client consultation.
Worked on RIBA Stage 3 external façades package for the Varso tower, a 53-storey office tower in the heart of Warsaw, Poland.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Nepal
Assistant Programme Officer, 4 months, June - October 2014
Designed semi-permanent shelters for handicapped and vulnerable refugees, which provided improved security, ventilation, water and sanitation access to meet WASH standards.
Conducted a needs analysis of shelters within 20,000 person refugee camp through weekly consultations and analysed structural deficiencies.
Oversaw initial construction of shelters, a project which results in 25 new semi-permanent shelters in Beldanghi II Camp. The design was subsequently used by UNHCR in the humanitarian response to the 2015 Gorkha earthquake, Nepal.

Contributed to the concept design of the Shonan Christ Church in Kanagawa and to the Stage 3 technical design of the Gondo House, Tokyo. Delivered two competition entries for residential projects for the 2011 Tsunami-affected towns in the Tohoku Prefecture.

Design-and-build workshop in the rural village Koshirakura, led by the AA University of London. Gained and applied knowledge about traditional Japanese timber joinery building a viewer’s platform.

Design-and-build workshop with ‘Architecture Sans Frontières-UK’ and ‘SEEDS-India’ in Ladakh, northern India. Built latrines and a pavilion for a girl’s higher-secondary school.
